CMS FESTIVAL

The most awaited event of one of the best B- schools in India Center for Management Studies came into reality on the 1st of February. This year’s theme for the fest was Cathexis.The program started off on an auspicious note by seeking the blessings of the Divine through an invocation song by the students of CMS. This was followed by the Chairman of the Jain Group of Institutions, Dr.R.Chenraj Jain and the head of CMS, Mr. Dinesh Nilkant. There was an enthralling inaugural dance to the beats of the song Mahaganapathim.The event sponsors were JGI Ventures India Pvt. Ltd. The co-sponsors for the event were
Google, Samaavesh, NDTV Profit, Gajanand Jewellers, Karbonn Mobiles, Bangalore Mirror, Syndicate Bank, Radio One, Urvashi, Advaith Hyundai and the co-sponsors being K2 learning and Micro Labs Limted.Sri Dinesh Nilkant, Centre Head-CMS addressed the audience and wished the event success. The Chief Guest, Ms. Jessie Paul, Chief Marketing Officer of Paul Writer, B2B enterprise and an expert in brand globalization gave an inspiring speech to the audience exhorting them to prioritize, to make themselves relevant and also to truly enjoy what they did. She signed off saying “Enjoy Maadi”!
The Chairman, Dr. Chenraj Jain enthralled the crowd with his astounding speech intended to inspire the youth.The first event was the business plan which had a spectacular set of students showing off their marketing skills. The event saw the marketing of - cars without a drivers, colour therapy, etc.The next event was Nation branding which saw the participants impress the audience with their exemplary presentation skills.Lunch was a sumptuous spread courtesy -The Food Fest that was arranged as a part of the CMS Festival . It saw the convergence of various cuisines on a single platter. The cuisines ranged from Rajasthani, Gujarathi to South Indian and Chinese.Electrifying dances and songs performed by the first year students of the BBM and BMS courses enthralled and entertained the audience.
The afternoon session started off with the much awaited Best Manager Event. It saw the various participants from renowned Business Schools vying for the title of Best Manager.The teams that competed for the coveted title of the Best Manager were from Jain College, J.C. Road, Christ University’s B.Com Professional, Christ University BBM Department and St. Josephs College of Commerce. The winner was Christ University
BBM. The day ended on a very touching yet pragmatic valedictory, but as they say tomorrow is yet another day and another bag full of even greater surprises at Lasya – Day 1…
